MatchBand is a mobile app that solves three problems simultaneously. (1) The amateur musician does not have a platform that merges fan following with business opportunities. (2) Venues, which we define as restaurants, bars and cafes, have a difficult time sourcing musicians and need a seamless new marketing stream. (3) Music-goers, the average person, cannot easily find free or inexpensive performances outside of a major metropolitan area.
