My daily assignments included organizing press clips every morning to send to the congressman, drafting social media posts, and batching incoming constituent messages, as well as a handful of bigger projects: writing a press release, researching an op-ed, designing graphics, and even serving as the interim press assistant and managing our social media calendar for two weeks at the end of my internship.
